It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Hello All,
Just when you thought we were done for the year, a few of the “MLPAA woman” asked if we could host another Pine Cone Workshop.

So, LET IT BE!  Thanks to the County for allowing us usage of the Community Center!

Last time we had such a blast, as always everyone is welcomed to attend, and all supplies to make your keepsake creation are provided free of charge.

Attached is a flyer to print and hand out. One makes three with a pair of scissors.
For information, it is best to call Teresa Mraz @ 450-8437 (She is Santa’s Project Leader !)

#GivingTuesday - MLPAA

Today is known as GivingTuesday. A perfect day to give to a local non-profit that's given so much to the community. Today is your day to say thanks by giving something to the Meadow Lake Parks Area Association (MLPAA). Every little bit helps and everything you give goes right back to the community this association serves. Visit our website and take a look at all the events the MLPAA has sponsored. If you can't give money, volunteer to help the Association continue to improve the park. Even better, become a member which gives you unlimited access to the park.

A Nice Place To Visit

It's also a nice place for a picnic or campfire

Modern conveniences aren't far away.

The BIG DAY is almost HERE

Hey all,
Here is the big MLPAA event everyone has been waiting for! Sunday 10/29/2017 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Hope to see you there!
Attached is the PUMPKIN HUNT FLYER, one makes two. Print one and hand two out. Or just send via E-mail to your favorite pumpkin head.
Pumpkins are limited this year so the little ones will be set off first. But, if they are not fast… then they will be last. Be on time!

8-7-2017 Two of the MLPAA Residents are Growing Up

Thanks to Jerry Cline for capturing these great images. These two hawks who are regulars at the MLPAA property are growing up. Keep your eyes open when you visit the park. You may find them nesting or, soaring high above the property. They are certainly not something to be missed.

We thank our Treasurer Jerry Cline for adding these treasures:
The quail getting a drink at the waterfall.

Even the lizards get thirsty, this one coming for a drink while I am watering the trees.

Prickly weed with a beautiful bloom.

In Hidden hollow, we have Mom and Dad hawk with a chick.

Happy 4th of July from the MLPAA to all of its Members

Yesterday, Jerry Cline was busy watering some of the trees at the property. He had a visitor who was very happy that Jerry showed up:

This morning some of us were busy installing drippers to make future watering a bit easier:
