10-28-2018 MLPAA Annual Pumpkin Hunt and Hay Ride - Follow-up

Those kids that were lucky enough to win one of the eight bikes we gave away were also very happy.

I told you we would be giving away pumpkins. This little tike needed some help with hers.

MLPAA Annual Pumpkin Hunt and Hay Ride

We are giving away pumpkins today. All you have to do is find them. Some lucky kids will even win a bike. Stick around and enjoy a hayride towards the end of the event. It all starts at 2:00 PM at Meadow Lake Park (MLPAA) at the end of Meadow Lake Road.

Monthly Meeting and Membership Renewal appeal

The MLPAA is an all-volunteer 501C3 non-profit that never charges for the supplies used for the workshops. Everyone is always invited to any of our many public events. Last year we hosted 12 events.
We purchase supplies needed and run the Park through memberships and donations. Park improvements are also paid for through donations. Last year we added another 1,500 feet of water drip lines and new trees and shrubs. We currently have ~125 old and new trees that are on drip systems. The MLPAA currently pays for the water…. you guessed it…through donations. Last year our water bill was about $600.
The results……..We are creating a beautiful 35-acre open space that supports native Flora and wildlife habitat for all to enjoy.
Please renew your membership at this time. If you find it in your heart that the MLPAA is /continues to be/ has been a game changer not only for our Community, the Kids, and Valencia County as a whole, then please make a special donation………. But above all continue your support by renewing your membership.  If you can’t donate time then the membership donation is $45.00. You can mail it to the address below:
MLPAA-Jim Lane
8 Mesa Estates Road
Los Lunas, NM 87031
Thank You and see you at the Park.
